RAJU'S TREE:
A DISNEY ADVENTURELAND PARK RIDE
Raju’s Tree is a drop-tower ride based on a movie of the same name. But it is a lot more than that.
The ride tells the story of Urpi, an insecure Inca girl. She faces her challenges by looking for Raju, a canopy-dwelling rhino, who she believes is the only one who can help her. She therefore sets on to climbing the tallest tree in the rainforest. She has to overcome hardships and obstacles, and with the help of rainforest animals, she manages to make it to the top and meet Raju.
In the spirit of the story, the motto of the ride is You Can Be the Master of Your Fate, and its mission is to provide tween girls with tools and experiences that would motivate them to better themselves and to believe in their abilities.
Raju’s Tree achieves this mission through pre-ride experiences that encourage participants to try and to learn new skills and activities; through a challenging, entertaining, and educating ride that forces them to face their fears; and through inspiring gift-shop merchandise.
Before leaving Raju's habitat, inspired tweens can get reminders of their capabilities in the form of Raju T-shirt and bullet journal at the gift shop.
